Katerina Tünde Kozma is a contemporary artist born in Dunaújváros, Hungary, in 1977. Now residing in Greece, Katerina began her artistic journey later in life, embracing her passion for art as a self-taught painter and sculptor. Inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of her home, her faith, and the serene beauty of the sea, she translates her experiences into her work.
Katerina's artistic style is rooted in realism, focusing on subjects such as seascapes, portraits, and religious figures. She often employs a monochrome palette to evoke deep emotional responses, reminiscent of the feelings stirred by black and white photographs. Her abstract paintings offer a departure from realism, allowing for exploration and expression through color and form.
In 2021, Katerina showcased her work internationally in group exhibitions with M.A.D.S. Art Gallery, held in Milan, Italy, and Fuerteventura, Spain (Paraíso). These experiences have further enriched her artistic perspective and commitment to her craft.
At 47, Katerina continues to evolve as an artist, drawing from her rich cultural background and personal journey. She believes in the power of art to connect with others and hopes that her work resonates on a profound emotional level with viewers.
